For their new solo show, the artist duo focus their research on the world of film production as a container of translation processes, insisting on questions of accessibility in the context of storytelling.
The movie is intended here as a framework, a choral machine to observe the tension points in the assembly line of worldbuilding, with its continuous linguistic negotiations. In the show, these offer a point of view to look into the narrative and transactional implications that regulate the relation between drawing, sound, written word and movement.
In a theatrical endeavor combining sci-fi, crime and musical genres, the narration reflects on the relationship between elements such as voice and body, apparatus and diegesis, mythology and landscape.
The show is made possible through the support of Kulturamt Frankfurt am Main.
